The Miami Heat announced today that they have traded forward/center Jarnell Stokes and cash considerations to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for a conditional 2018 second-round pick.
Stokes appeared in five games with the Heat this season totaling seven points, two rebounds, one assist and a steal while shooting 3-of-5 from the field.
He was originally acquired by the Heat, along with Beno Udrih, via trade with the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Mario Chalmers and James Ennis earlier this season on November 10.
