The Suns suspended Markieff Morris for two games without pay Thursday for throwing a towel at Suns coach Jeff Hornacek and for an inappropriate verbal exchange that occurred during Wednesday’s loss.
The latest distraction from Morris will cost him $145,455 of his $8 million salary.
Morris became upset during a timeout after learning that Hornacek was taking him out of the game and used a “negative tone” with Hornacek when he threw a towel at Hornacek, who picked up it up and tossed the towel – and some words – Morris' way.
