Iowa State, ranked 5th in the country, suffered a brutal blow to its Final Four hopes when it was announced senior guard Naz Mitrou-Long will miss the rest of the season.
Mitrou-Long had surgery on his left hip on April 1 and on his right hip a little more than a month later.
He started the first eight games of the season and averaged 12 points in 31.6 minutes before deciding to sit out the rest of the 2015-16 campaign.
