On Monday Russell Westbrook made the largest financial donation by any former basketball student-athlete in the history of his alma mater, UCLA.
The undisclosed sum of money will go towards the Mo Ostin Basketball Center project, which will help provide basketball student athletes at UCLA with an incredible experience.
As a recognition of Westbrook’s generosity, UCLA will be naming its practice floor inside the new state-of-the-art facility Russell Westbrook Court.
On Thursday, Jan. 7, the night before the Thunder plays in Los Angeles against the Lakers, UCLA will honor Westbrook during its game against the Arizona Wildcats at Pauley Pavilion.
