LSU avoided losing its fourth straight game thanks to a high-scoring effort from its entire team, paced by star freshman Ben Simmons' career-high 43 points in a 119-108 win against North Florida.
Simmons had his most impressive offensive performance of the season, scoring 43 on 75 percent shooting from the field and a 13-for-15 showing at the line.
He added 14 rebounds, seven assists, five steals and three blocks just to complete the punch card for the most well-rounded game you could ask for from the star freshman.
