Trey Burke has been shooting much better this season and he showed it with his best shooting night of his career in Saturday night’s 89-79 win over Memphis.
Burke finished with a game-high 24 points, including 6 for 8 from 3-point range, surpassing his previous high of five 3-pointers in a couple of games, which took him more than eight tries in each case.
Earlier in the day, coach Quin Snyder called Burke’s play this season “terrific,’’ saying he’s played well every game since the opener when he went scoreless at Detroit.
