The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Sampson Carter, guard/forward Yakhouba Diawara, guard Lazeric Jones and forward/center Alex Stepheson, the team announced today.
Carter (6-8, 220) played six preseason games for the Grizzlies, averaging 1.0 points and 0.8 rebounds in 6.0 minutes.
Diawara (6-7, 225) made six preseason appearances for Memphis, recording 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 16.0 minutes.
Jones (6-0, 187) played six preseason contests for Memphis, tallying 5.8 points and 1.7 assists in 14.3 minutes.
Stepheson (6-10, 270) logged three preseason appearances for the Grizzlies, registering 2.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in 9.2 minutes.
The Grizzlies’ roster currently stands at 16 players.
