Injured Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio aimed toward making his preseason debut Sunday at Memphis.
He participated in Sunday’s light workout, and interim coach Sam Mitchell hopes Rubio can practice fully in live contact Friday and Saturday after the team returns from a three-game Canadian trip that ends Wednesday.
