Anyone who watched any of Argentina’s games at the recent FIBA Championships in Mexico knows Luis Scola has plenty left to offer.
Now in Toronto in the early stages of training camp, he likes the way things are headed.
“I have a good feeling about this year,” he said. “ It’s a good opportunity for me. It’s a good situation and I think I can help the team. They made me feel like I would be helping the team. They made me feel wanted.”
Scola could even wind up starting for the Raptors at the age of 35 if the team deems him a better fit alongside Jonas Valanciunas than Patrick Patterson.
