Harrison Barnes said Saturday he changed agents in advance of an Oct. 30 deadline to either sign a contract extension with the Warriors or become a restricted free agent the following summer.
Barnes confirm his new agent is Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management after previously having been with Jeffrey Wechsler since the start of his career.
The 23-year-old Barnes and the Warriors have expressed mutual interest having him back on a long-term contract, and the deal could pay him at least $10 million per season.
