After seeing his production take a slight dip last season with the Brooklyn Nets before eventually negotiating a buyout this summer, three-time All-Star point guard Deron Williams says he’s looking forward to beginning the 2015-16 campaign with a clean slate.
Last season, Williams produced his lowest-scoring output since his rookie campaign, averaging 13.0 points, 6.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 31.1 minutes an outing while appearing in 68 games for the Nets.
“Just getting started, man. A fresh start is what I’m most excited about,” Williams said Wednesday during an exclusive interview with Mavs.com.
