The Phoenix Suns' training camp gained some competition with agreements for former Sixers center Henry Sims and former Nets power forward Cory Jefferson to compete for roster spots.
Sims, 25, played 73 games last season for Philadelphia and averaged 8.0 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
Jefferson, 24, is a 6-foot-9, 218-pound power forward who played 50 games as a rookie last season for Brooklyn. Jefferson averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds.
