Veteran forward Dorell Wright is leaving Portland and the NBA altogether after signing a one-year deal with the Chongqing Soaring Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Wright, 29, played two seasons with the Blazers after signing with the team in the summer of 2013. The reserve forward averaged 4.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and shot 35.5 percent from three-point range in 116 games.
His final season with the Blazers was cut short when he fractured a bone in left hand in early April that kept him out through the team's first round playoff loss to Memphis.
