Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson has been ordered to submit to continuous alcohol monitoring, a Denver judge said Friday, and will be going to an alcohol rehab program.
Lawson's attorney, Harvey Steinberg, said in court Lawson on Saturday will enter a 30-day intensive residential program that will "ensure his sobriety."
Lawson, who did not speak at Friday's brief hearing, is going to Cliffside Malibu, a luxury rehab center in Malibu, Calif., prosecutors confirmed.
