Marc Gasol made Grizzlies fans happy by agreeing to a five-year, maximum contract that cements his place in Memphis as a franchise cornerstone.
Gasol, 30, will earn at least $108 million but the deal could be worth as much as $112 million depending on salary cap figures the NBA releases Wednesday.
The 7-foot center also has a player option after the fourth year, meaning Gasol could become a free agent again following the 2018-19 season.
