As the Phoenix Suns pursue free-agent forward LaMarcus Aldridge, the team unloaded three players to the Detroit Pistons to clear an additional $7 million-plus in salary-cap space, according to league sources.
The Suns traded forwards Marcus Morris and Danny Granger and guard Reggie Bullock to the Detroit Pistons for a 2020 second-round pick.
The Suns could work a sign-and-trade with the Dallas Mavericks potentially involving Markieff Morris to help get them the space needed to sign both Aldridge and Chandler.
