Julius Randle has made steady improvement since breaking his tibia in the Lakers’ season opener Oct. 28 again Houston, and remains on course to be playing five-on-five in time to participate in summer league games in July in Las Vegas.
Asked if he was 100 percent yet, Randle said, “I believe I am. The last time I checked probably about a month ago, the bone was 95 percent healed. I feel great.”
Randle also had surgery on his foot to repair a screw from a surgery two years earlier. He said that was no longer a factor in his recovery.
