Ex-Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs, possibly the No. 1 transfer left on the market, has officially decided to take his talents to Connecticut.
Gibbs was one of the better players in the Big East last season, averaging 16.3 points and 3.8 assists per game on his way to a second-team all-league selection.
However, as Seton Hall's season dissolved from being ranked throughout the month of January to missing out on the postseason entirely, Gibbs apparently became disillusioned with the direction of the program.
