Tobias Harris becomes a restricted free agent on July 1 and will likely be a target of his hometown New York Knicks.
The issue for the Knicks, of course, is that the Orlando Magic can match any offer the Knicks make — and GM Rob Hennigan is on record saying he “intends” to bring the Long Island native back “no matter what” the cost. That cost could get up to $13-$15 million a year, according to reports.
Harris averaged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds this past season in Orlando.
