The Cavaliers apologized Thursday afternoon for a video that has drawn criticism on social media for being insensitive to domestic violence.
The video is a spoof of a commercial by UnitedHealthcare based on the hit 1987 movie Dirty Dancing.
In the Cavs video, the man, a Cavs fan, is all set to lift the woman, a Bulls fan, into the air. But instead of lifting her, he throws her to the ground.
The video was shown at The Q during a timeout in Wednesday's win over Chicago in Game 2 of the NBA's Eastern Conference semifinals.
