Nick King and Pookie Powell are both transferring out of the Memphis program, coach Josh Pastner told early Wednesday morning.
King and Powell are both former top-85 national recruits who started for Memphis before their playing time eventually dwindled. King averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game this season. Powell averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 assists in 15.4 minutes per game.
