Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas returned from an eight-game absence during Wednesday night's 93-86 loss to the Miami Heat.
Thomas, who finished with four points in 20 minutes, suffered a badly bruised lower back while being fouled by Dwyane Wade in a game against the Heat on March 9.
