Northern Kentucky has fired Dave Bezold after 11 years as coach. Bezold was 194-133 with the Norse but went 13-17 this season, his third straight losing campaign in a four-year transition to Division I. NKU was 33-54 the three past years.
The Norse finished tied for fourth in the Atlantic Sun Conference and lost 76-73 in overtime to Lipscomb in a conference tournament quarterfinal.
