The Philadelphia 76ers announced Tuesday the team has claimed forward Thomas Robinson off of waivers.
Robinson has appeared in 172 career games in three NBA seasons and has posted averages of five points and four rebounds in 14 minutes per game.
He was selected fifth overall in the 2012 NBA Draft after a junior season in which he was named Big 12 Player of the Year and a consensus First Team All-American.
In a related move, the team has released Tim Frazier from his second 10-day contract.
