The Suns are addressing their frontcourt void by signing Earl Barron to a 10-day contract.
Barron was the 7-foot veteran who was the last Suns cut in the preseason, when he was a non-guaranteed player competing against a Shavlik Randolph on a guaranteed contract.
With the Suns trading Miles Plumlee and not acquiring a big man in Thursday's three trades, Barron gives the Suns a big man with a perimeter shot and familiarity with the Suns system and teammates.
