Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova has been named to the World Team for the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend in New York.
Dellavedova will be replacing Kelly Olynyk of the Boston Celtics as in injury replacement.
The second-year guard from Australia is just the third player in league history to be undrafted and appear in the event since it went to the rookie-sophomore format in 2000 (Jeremy Lin and Anthony Morrow).
This season, Dellavedova has appeared in 39 games (nine starts) for Cleveland, averaging 4.3 points and 2.9 assists in 20.3 minutes per game.
