Virginia star out 4-6 weeks with broken finger

Virginia will be without star guard Justin Anderson for four to six weeks with a fractured finger on his left (shooting) hand, the school announced late Saturday night.

Anderson suffered the injury in the first half of Virginia's 52-47 win over No. 9 Louisville on Saturday night. After halftime, he returned to the bench and sat next to the team trainer, his hand wrapped in bandages. He did not return to the game.

Anderson is averaging 13.2 points per game, second best on the team, with 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
