The Memphis Grizzlies re-assigned guard Jordan Adams, forward/center Jarnell Stokes and guard Russ Smith to the Grizzlies’ NBA Development League affiliate, the Iowa Energy, Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace announced today.
This marks the fourth assignment to Iowa for both Adams and Stokes and the first for Smith, who had three prior stints this season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Adams has recorded 2.5 points in 7.0 minutes in 11 games during his rookie season in Memphis.
Stokes has averaged 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5.6 minutes in 16 games (two starts) during his rookie season for the Grizzlies.
Smith totaled five points in 29 minutes in six appearances for the Pelicans this season and has yet to make his Grizzlies debut after being acquired by Memphis in a three-team trade with New Orleans and Boston on Jan. 12.
