Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker will miss Monday’s home game against Minnesota Timberwolves after sitting out practice Sunday at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Walker also missed Saturday’s 80-71 overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers with a sore left knee. The Hornets say the source of that pain is a cyst that Walker has had since high school.
Walker has been a particularly durable player in his 3-plus NBA seasons in Charlotte. He played every game his first two NBA seasons. He missed nine games last season.
