The Boston Celtics reached a buyout agreement with point guard Nate Robinson on Wednesday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the decision had not yet been announced. Robinson, the 30-year-old veteran who was traded from the Denver Nuggets to Boston on Tuesday, is expected to clear waivers and become a free agent.
While it's unclear just yet where he'll land, Robinson's preference is to reunite with former coach, Doc Rivers, with the Los Angeles Clippers.
