The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward/center Kenyon Martin to a 10-day contract, General Manager John Hammond announced Friday.
Martin is a 14-year NBA veteran who has appeared in 746 games (667 starts) with New Jersey, Denver, the Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks.
To make room on the roster, the Bucks requested waivers on guard Nate Wolters.
Martin was a teammate with Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd with the Nets from 2001 – 2004 and again with the Knicks for the 2012-13 campaign. Martin owns career averages of 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocked shots per game.
In 11 games for the Bucks this season, Wolters averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game. In 69 career NBA games, he has averaged 6.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
