Marquette sophomores Deonte Burton and John Dawson will transfer out of the program. This means the Golden Eagles are down to eight scholarship players at the moment.
The school made an announcement Tuesday that Burton, a highly regarded player from Milwaukee who attended prep school at Brewster Academy, and Dawson, a seldom-used reserve, will both head elsewhere.
