Westbrook boosts Thunder with 32 in return

Russell Westbrook scored 32 points in his first game back from a broken right hand, and the Thunder rolled past the Knicks 105-78 on Friday night.

Westbrook returned in grand fashion, making 12 of 17 shots, including 3 of 4 3-pointers, and adding eight assists and seven rebounds in just 23 minutes before checking out late in the third quarter because the Thunder were in control.

Amar'e Stoudemire had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks, who shot 39 percent from the field and scored a season-low point total in their third straight loss.

Kings 104 Spurs 112

Tony Parker had 27 points and San Antonio held on to beat the Sacramento Kings, the second straight victory without its veteran head coach. Gregg Popovich missed his second game following a recent undisclosed minor medical procedure.

Kawhi Leonard scored 19 points, Tim Duncan had 18 points and Danny Green had 11 points for San Antonio (11-4).

Rudy Gay had 23 points, Darren Collison and Ryan Hollins added 15 points each for Sacramento (9-7).

Magic 83 Pacers 98

David West wasted little time making an impact in his first start of the season, scoring Indiana's first four points in a 98-83 win over the Magic.

West finished with 18 points. C.J. Watson also made his season debut, scoring nine points off the bench as the Pacers (7-9) start to get healthier.

Nikola Vucevic led Orlando with 16 points. Tobias Harris and Victor Oladipo each scored 14 and Ben Gordon had 12 points for the Magic, who lost their fourth straight.
