A scary scene played out at the Moda Center on Thursday during the fourth quarter of the Trail Blazers' nationally-televised game against Dallas when a woman suffered a medical emergency and had to be stretchered out of the arena.
The incident happened in section 111. As players and coaches from both teams watched, the woman, who was described as elderly, was carried onto a stretcher on the court while an EMT continued to pump her heart with his hand.
"Treatment was administered here, and she was transported to Emanuel Hospital," Lewellen said. "That's all we can share at this point."
