Chris Paul notches first triple-double for Clippers in win

The Clippers won 107-101 on Monday night after blowing much of a 15-point lead and went 3-1 playing four games in five nights to start the season.

Chris Paul notched the NBA's first triple-double of the season and his first with the Clippers, finishing with 13 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

Blake Griffin scored 31 points and Jamal Crawford added 19 to go over 15,000 in his career. Gordon Hayward scored 27 points and Enes Kanter added 17 points and nine rebounds for Utah, which has lost three of four.

Kings 110 Nuggets 105

Darren Collison scored 21 points, including three free throws in the final 16.2 seconds, in a contest that featured 63 fouls as the Sacramento Kings held off the Denver Nuggets.

The Kings are off to a 3-1 start for the first time since 2010-11.

The Nuggets had seven players in double figures, led by Arron Afflalo and JaVale McGee with 16 points apiece.

Celtics 113 Mavericks 118

Chandler Parsons scored 29 points, including a key 3-pointer to help Dallas hang on after going up by 30 before halftime for the second time in two home games, and the Mavericks beat the Boston Celtics.

Jeff Green led the Celtics with 35, and Avery Bradley had a career-high 32 but missed one of three free throws with a chance to tie with 39 seconds left.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 for the Mavericks, who shot 73 percent in the first quarter and had at least 66 points at halftime for the third straight game.
