Kansas sophomore guard Conner Frankamp is transferring elsewhere. Frankamp averaged 11 points per game last season in the NCAA tournament and was also considered one of the team's top shooters.
However, he was already behind both sophomore Frank Mason and freshman Devonte Graham at the point guard spot, and he would also have had difficulty getting extended minutes at shooting guard.
"I met with Conner and his father Wednesday to discuss his situation and opportunity this season at Kansas," Jayhawks coach Bill Self said in a statement. "On Thursday he informed me he was going to transfer at the end of this fall semester."
