The Miami Heat announced today that they have signed guard Larry Drew II. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Drew appeared in 11 games (two starts) with the Heat during the 2014 Orlando and Vegas Summer Leagues and averaged 4.4 points, 3.6 assists, 1.55 steals and 1.5 rebounds while shooting 43.9 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range and 77.8 percent from the foul line.
He spent the 2013-14 season with Miami’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, helping them to a postseason berth after appearing in 41 regular season games (36 starts) and averaging 11.4 points, 7.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.66 steals and 35.5 minutes.
The Heat’s roster now stands at 19.
