Timberwolves veteran guard Kevin Martin injured groin muscles during Saturday’s training-camp practice in Mankato, an injury that the Wolves, this early in the preseason, will treat with caution.
“He tweaked it pretty good,” Wolves coach Flip Saunders said. “We’ll have to see how he is.”
Martin left practice early the same session that forward Corey Brewer returned after leaving Friday’s practice early. Brewer was hit in the mouth during a collision with Thaddeus Young while both were chasing a loose ball.
