Lionel Hollins expects a resurgence from Kevin Garnett. The Nets coach also has penciled in the 38-year-old as the starting power forward.
“Yes,” Hollins said Monday when asked about Garnett in the lineup. “There’s nobody in the gym I’d put in his place. He’s earned that right to be the starter from Day 1.”
Garnett is said to have contemplated retirement, but new Nets coach Lionel Hollins says the future Hall of Famer is his starting power forward.
“He deserves Hall of Fame respect,” said Hollins, who attended Deron Williams’ annual Dodgeball charity event Monday at Basketball City in Manhattan. “Obviously going forward it’s about being healthy, it’s about producing."
