Hakim Warrick will continue his quest to return to the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs.
The former Syracuse University star confirmed Friday that he had been invited to a workout with the reigning NBA champions. Warrick will have his workout with the Spurs on Sept. 1.
Warrick, who played at Syracuse from 2001 to 2005, spent eight years in the NBA. However, he last played in the NBA during the 2012-13 season with the Bobcats.
