Noah Dickerson needed a new home after decommitting from Georgetown and he has committed to Florida, that needed another legit back-to-the-basket post player for its roster in 2015-16.
"Coach [Billy] Donovan is a great coach," Dickerson said. "He develops players, and he has great character. That's one thing I love about him. He's a great person outside of a coach."
Dickerson, a 6-foot-8 big man from Montverde Academy (Fla.), chose the Gators over LSU, Georgia Tech, Washington and others.
