The Miami Heat announced Friday that they have signed guard Shabazz Napier. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Napier, a two-time NCAA Champion, appeared in 143 career games (98 starts) at the University of Connecticut and averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.76 steals and 32.3 minutes while shooting 41.1 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from three-point range and 81.3 percent from the foul line.
Napier was acquired by the Heat in a draft night trade after being originally selected in the first round (24th overall) by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2014 NBA Draft.
