The Lakers agreed to terms with free-agent power forward Ed Davis on a two-year contract worth $2 million, adding some depth to a severely understaffed frontcourt.
Davis, 25, averaged 5.7 points and 4.1 rebounds last season in 15.2 minutes a game for the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 13th pick in the 2010 draft holds a player option for the second year of the contract.
