The Bucks have the second pick in Thursday’s draft, and co-owner Marc Lasry revealed Monday that the team won’t be considering Joel Embiid.
Embiid’s surgeon said in the release that the surgery went well, but did not provide a timetable for his return. The injury typically takes anywhere from four to eight months to heal.
With that in mind, Lasry prefers taking a player that can help the Bucks immediately.
