Kawhi Leonard is youngest Finals MVP since Magic Johnson

Kawhi Leonard became the youngest player to win the Bill Russell Finals MVP award since Magic Johnson won it twice before his 23rd birthday as the Spurs punished Miami 4-1 for their fifth championship.

“It just feels like a dream to me,” said Leonard, who averaged 17.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and shot 61.2 percent in the series. “I’ve been progressing each year and the team has also. Losing in the semifinals my first year, and losing in the championship my second year, and now winning in my third year, it just makes you believe in your craft and your hard work.”
