While the New York Knicks and Steve Kerr are reportedly close to a deal, maybe it won't be as exorbitant as originally thought.
The Knicks have been hesitant to pay him like a "star," according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The two sides discussed a five-year, $25 million deal "earlier this month," according to ESPN.com, but "terms have likely changed several times since then" because of interest from the Golden State Warriors.
