The home arena of the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics is getting a $70 million makeover to make sure it “sets the industry standard,” owner Charlie Jacobs announced Monday.
The two-year, privately-financed project at TD Garden includes the expansion and relocation of the shop that sells Bruins and Celtics memorabilia.
The arena’s loge and balcony concourses will receive a complete floor-to-ceiling redesign that will include more varied concessions.
