UCLA sophomore guard Kyle Anderson will declare for the NBA draft, according to SNY.tv. Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com reports Anderson’s father, Kyle Anderson Sr., confirmed his son’s plans.
Anderson’s decision comes after the Bruins were ousted from the NCAA tournament Thursday night with a 79-68 loss to Florida.
Anderson is projected to be a mid-to-late first round pick and could utilize his 6-foot-9 frame as a shooting/passing forward in the NBA.
