The Knicks have scheduled a Tuesday morning press conference at the Garden to announce the hiring of Phil Jackson as team president.
Jackson’s Chicago-based agent Todd Musburger is with him in Los Angeles to sign the contracts Friday, a source confirmed. ESPN.com reported he will be paid $12 million per year.
The Knicks are billing the 11 a.m. press conference as a “major announcement.”
