In the Pelicans' nationally televised game against the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night, Anthony Davis was going up for a rebound against Samuel Dalembert when he sprained his left shoulder.
He left the game and went into the locker room. He will not return in Wednesday's game.
During halftime, the Pelicans announced that Anthony Davis has a left shoulder sprain.
